Can you fix the Family Hub touchscreen, or does the whole fridge need replacing?

The Family Hub display is a separate sealed module connected via a ribbon cable. About 70% of "dead screen" calls are fixed with a firmware reflash and reseating the cable. The rest need a panel swap, which we can install on-site.

Is it worth fixing a Samsung washer that throws UE often?
